Ok, I said in my last post it would be the last one on here; I lied. I probably should have said 'last one until the voting closes', because now the voting is over and all that is left to say is

to all the great people who have given me such good feedback on my music, and all the great people who have voted for me - people I've never met before. Imagine that. It's almost as if my music is finally being appreciated by a wider audience!

Well, here's hoping I get through, make the big-time and get to thank you more personally, possibly in the way of bakey-cakey-goodness (no not with Nutrigrain bars, they're not that nice), or just a big piss-up-after-party. Who knows.

In any case, no matter what happens, it's been invaluable to hear your comments and reviews on my music - oh, and did I say thank you to everyone who voted for me? Here's to the Orange Republic*!

Ok everyone, this will be my last blog post here. I've had loads of fun chatting with all the bands and fans and will continue to do so. I wish them all the best of luck and hope to meet many of them in the competition...but in an effort to get more 'seeeeerius' I want to leave this up here for The Powers That Be to read, should they stumble across my page and consider me for the competition. I'll also give you some info on myself!

So, why should William Echo be selected as one of the 50? Why should you vote for me? Here are some random facts, figures and general self-promotion to sway your vote.

1. I write all the music all by myself. Aww.
2. I also play guitar, piano, drums, and mix & produce all my records. I'm an eager beaver.
3. Music is my sole passion, it's what I want to do - WILL do - for life.
4. Having invented my own genre, I endeavour to mix all the music I love into one big ball of folktronicarock. My goal is to write commercial, credible, catchy popular music that reaches everyone.
5. I'm a one-man-singer-songwriter with a difference; I don't write soppy love songs with an acoustic guitar. I write songs about anything & everything and then try and see what least-expected instrument I can find to put in the mix.
6. All the music you hear is performed by me. Think Lenny Kravitz or Prince.
7. Reliable-Hardworking is my double-barrelled surname. I won't stop until it's perfect, and I WILL turn up on time.
8. I would love for a helping hand into mainstream recognition. Orange Unsigned Act may just be my ticket into a long and successful career in music.
9. I'm in it for the long-run, and understand that the prize lands you on the first rung of the long ladder that is the music industry.
10. I'll eat almost anything, I'm not fussy.

Well wasn't today rainy? Driving along the M1 in what looked like a sea full of cars and lorries. Scary stuff.

In more land-based news, this competition has been a lot of fun so far, chatting random crap with nice people =] The support has been great, and it's been great returning some of it too! I certainly hope I get through just to put some faces to these names...

Keep the comments coming, it's nice to hear what other people think of your music - good and bad! But mainly good yeah..
