Hi, I've been singing/playing and writing music for as long as I can remember, just because it was the natural thing to do to release my emotions. When other people saw and heard me, they encouraged me to perform more. I then joined the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (where Amy Winehouse started out), and stayed with them for 5 years, holding the vocal and percussion chair for 2 years. I was also in a girlband for 2 years, which I left when I realised it wasn't right for me. Over the last year or so I've been co-writing with songwriter/producer Gavin Beckwith, and I've recently started to really focus on what I'm about. Since doing this, one of my songs has been chosen by Johnson & Johnson to use in a campaign for their charity 'Safe Kids Wordlwide', and three of our co-writes have been put forward for placement in a new U.S tv show! So I now feel tremendously encouraged, and more determined than ever!

Even though I'm too young, I really like the music from the 70's. There are so many good, strong, meaningful and catchy songs form that era, with no need for lots of processing to make them sound good... theyr'e real... and I like that. I mean Abba, Queen, The Carpenters, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Elton John, Roberta Flack... great songs!! I also love Stevie Wonder.
